Since then, every conceivable avenue for the smartphone to be used has opened up. One area benefiting from the growth and sophistication of technology is gambling, especially sports betting online. Some companies offer every possible wager on sports, with proposition betting on every part of every contest. You can even bet on the coin toss in football games. In addition, the younger crowd is being drawn into e-sports, with gambling on gaming for the 18+ demographic. There is a massive fan base for fantasy football as well. LG Velvet review: back on the smartphone catwalk

Gambar
LG smartphones have gotten a little stale of late. When you look back at the G8 ThinQ, the V50 ThinQ, and the V60 ThinQ, it's clear that the South Korean company had slipped into a rut. With the Velvet, LG has ripped up the blueprints and built a smartphone that is genuinely sexy, genuinely lovely to hold, and - dare I say it - could even turn heads. Good ✓Modern, attractive device ✓3D Arc Design feels great ✓Lovely camera integration Bad ✕Real beauty is on the inside ✕DualScreen is still dumb ✕No Quad DAC LG Velvet release date and price The LG Velvet costs 899,800 won in its native South Korean. The exact price and release date for the European and North American markets is not yet known, but we are expecting to see this available for around $600 - $700. A versio

T-Mobile REVVL 5G & REVVL 4+ Could Be Rebranded TCL Smartphones

TCL launched the 10 5G, 10 Pro, and 10L smartphones in the US in April this year. Up until now, the company only sold these devices in the unlocked variant. Soon, T-Mobile might start selling these newly launched TCL smartphones under the REVVL branding. The company introduced the REVVL as a white-label smartphone brand in 2017. T-Mobile may sell the TCL 10 5G and TCL 10L as REVVL 5G and REVVL 4+ respectively. Even the first two generations of the REVVL smartphones are also manufactured by TCL. T-Mobile to sell TCL 10 5G and TCL 10L as REVVL 5G and REVVL 4+ However, there is still no official confirmation from T-Mobile about these two upcoming smartphones. The product name on the TCL 10L listing on the Bluetooth SIG website was recently updated to REVVL 4+. Both the TCL 10L and REVVL 4+ come with model number 5062Z/5062W. On the other hand, the T-Mobile REVVL 5G with the code-name "seattle_5G" can be found on the list of Google Play certified smartphones. Interestingly, the B

Motorola’s Moto G8 line is confusing: here’s how the nine phones compare

Gambar
There are nine phones in the Moto G8 line - that's a huge step up over the four of the Moto G7 contingent or the three of the Moto G6, and as a result it can be easy to confuse the phones or struggle to work out which handset is the best for you. Well, there are nine named Moto G8 phones, but we'd argue the number is actually slightly lower. That's because while different assortments of the handsets have been released in different countries, some of them are just the same phone re-named. However, that's not always the case... it's all a bit confusing really. We've called these phones the Moto G8 devices, but bear in mind in the US Motorola is releasing them under the name 'Moto G'. This is part of the reason of the confusion, because if you're not well versed in phone names it can be hard to know if this is the most recent line, but thankfully elsewhere the company has stuck to 'G8'. To help you get your head around them, we've come up

Weak Demand for Smartphones Takes Toll on Broadcom

Gambar
Broadcom warned it will be weighed down by weak demand for wireless semiconductors as the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus takes its toll on smartphone sales, forcing one of its large customers to delay the launch of its latest phone. But the company said that the weakness will be balanced out by a boom in its core networking chip business.  "Looking ahead, our third quarter guidance in semiconductors reflects a surge in demand from cloud, telecom, and enterprise customers, offset by supply chain constraints and an expected substantial reset in wireless," said Hock Tan, Broadcom's CEO, in a statement. "We clearly see significant puts and takes," he added on a conference call with analysts. Facts and Figures Broadcom, one of the world's largest chip designers, said its overall sales in the second quarter came out to $5.74 billion, jumping from $5.52 billion over the last year. Quibi cannot blame all of its many problems on coronavirus

Gambar
Two months after launch, things are not going well for Quibi, the well-capitalized, much-hyped new streaming television app named for "quick bite" videos of 10 minutes or less. For starters, the app's entire premise was short, digestible videos that people would watch on the go, and so Quibi launched on April 6 only on mobile phones—amid a global pandemic that kept people in their homes, watching content on their televisions, not their phones. Quibi did not launch with an option to cast Quibi to your TV. As such, downloads have severely disappointed. Daily downloads of the free app have fallen precipitously since launch day, according to research firm Sensor Tower, and Quibi's current pace is for fewer than 2 million paying subscribers in its first year, compared to Quibi's own original target of 7.4 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. This month, Quibi asked its top executives to take 10% pay cuts. Quibi has also reduced its marketing amid the nationwi
